Failure to abide by these guidelines might result in a loss of marks or an immediate disqualification.
Guidelines for Poetry Submissions
- Poems may be written in any poetic style.
- Poems must be in English, original, unpublished, and written by one student, and must not exceed 1000 words.
- Poetry entries must be at least three, but cannot exceed 26 lines, including stanza breaks. Maximum character limit per line is 55 characters, including spaces between words. The poetry title does not count as a line.
- Poems must be written on 8.5 x 11 (letter size) and submitted in a format editable in PDF.
- Participants must not include their names or any other identifying information at the end of their poems.
- All works must be submitted by March 16th, 2025 to the Creative Minds submission page.
